Movie Verdict

Previously we’ve seen the actors, the honor killing, and this film. Rural scenery and a heartfelt love tale could entice the audience.
Promo materials claim that this video will “absolutely” connect you, yet this is not a film for everyone. The film had a great start, and the romantic scenes were well-executed, but the shooting site proved to be a major setback.
All of Suri Gagan Vihari as Suri and Aparna Devi as Nagamalli are superb actors. That doesn’t mean that the rest of the cast isn’t good either.
In this film, Jagath’s love moments were beautifully portrayed. In spite of the lack of novelty in the plot, the movie failed to captivate its audience.
The cinematography was substandard and the colors were oversaturated because we had to shoot in a village. Throughout the film, Osho Venkat uses his music to set the tone for several of the moments.
In the end, the 1996 Dharmapuri film is just for individuals who appreciate rural scenery and commercials in their movies.

Movie Rating: 2.5/ 5
