Acharya Movie Review

Story

His early years were spent in a Gurukulam in the city of Dharmastali, where he was instructed in a variety of religious ideals and rites. Siddha will always be present for the Dharmastali people, and they will never be alone. Siddha is devoted to the Dharma and is always available to the Dharmastali people, whom he adores, whenever they need him. Siddha has a thing for Neelambari, but it isn’t the only thing he likes about her (Pooja Hegde). When a dreadful individual threatened to annihilate the Dharmastali village, Siddha intervened to prevent it from happening. After Siddha left Dharmastali with the evil guy, the villagers began to suffer, and Acharya entered the field to save them, the villagers began to suffer even more. Who knows what happened to Siddha in the end? They appeared to be related in some way. All of these are legitimate questions that can only be answered after viewing the film.

Movie Verdict

Chiranjeevi and Ramcharan are both performers who make their living from their work. For the first time in the show’s history, these two characters make their formal television premiere as full-fledged protagonists. They are the most important selling element of the film as a whole (Unique Selling Point). Some people go to the movies solely to see their favorite actors on the big screen, and they are not the only ones. They are completely uninterested in the plot.
A fantastic screenplay was written by Koratala Siva, the film’s director, that addressed all commercial considerations without allowing the actors to get in the way. The experience of listening to Mahesh Babu read the voice-over for Acharya was a highlight. Following then, the picture resorted to its standard pattern of hero, love, song, and interval bang, which has become something of a cinematic mainstay over the years. When Chiranjeevi returns to Dharmastali after a brief absence, the story picks up where it left off. The decision to investigate the connections between Siddha and Acharya was a sound one. The trademark of Koratala Siva is clearly visible here. Despite the fact that the routes traveled by Siddha and Acharya are not similar, this sequence is one of the most visually appealing in the film.
Even though Ramcharan’s performance in RRR was outstanding, we may be disappointed if we expect him to deliver a similar level of performance in Siddha. Additionally, Chiranjeevi is outstanding in the role of Acharya. His stylish and hip personality, as well as his pleasant television appearance, were demonstrated. Neelambari, played by Pooja Hegde, is a character who appears solely for the purpose of serving as a potential love interest for Sidhha; she serves no other purpose. It helped that he is one of the most charismatic mass-market filmmakers in Telugu cinema, which boosted the rest of the cast and crew in their performances. Acharya is in no way comparable to a Koratala Siva movie. Despite the fact that the tale might have been cut in half, he did an amazing job with the two performers.
Acharya’s design is quite remarkable. Suresh Selvarajan, the film’s art director, is also the film’s star, as is the rest of the cast. When it came to the realm he created, Dharmastali, the cinematography, and lighting were equally amazing. The music of Bale Bale Banjara served as an excellent counterpoint to Manisharma’s underwhelming compositions.
Acharya is also worth seeing for the performances by Chiranjeevi and Ramcharan, who both give excellent performances.

Movie Rating: 3/ 5
