Sony Liv continues to acquire Tamil movies, they have signed GV Prakash’s upcoming movie Ayngaran and director Simbu Devan’s upcoming movie Kasada Thapara, both will have an exclusive digital premiere in August. According to recent reports, the shooting of Ayngaran has been wrapped up and scheduled for a direct OTT release in August, 2021, on the Sonly Liv OTT platform.

Directed by Raviarasu of Eeti fame, GV Prakash plays an Engineering graduate in the film. Ayngaran has an ensemble of actors including Mahima Nambiar, Kaali Venkat, Arul Dass, Aadukalam Narein, Hareesh Peradi, Abishek, Irene, and Siddharth. Saravanan Abimanyu has cranked the camera, GV Prakash has composed the music, and Raja Mohammad is the editor.
