Hyderabad Become New Shoot Hub for PAN Indian Movies – Ponniyin Selvan, Adipurush, RRR, Radhe Shyam, Annaatthe, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Valimai
Hyderabad has now become the new shooting hub for most of the PAN Indian movies including Ponniyin Selvan, Adipurush, RRR, Radhe Shyam, Annaatthe, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Valimai, and many others. Along with Ramoji Film City, many other film studios like D Ramanaidu Studios, Sarathi, Annapurna studios, etc were filling up very fast. Due to the restrictions in other states many of the star actors and filmmakers from Bollywood and Kollywood are flying to Hyderabad for a long schedule.
Earlier actors like Ajith, Rajinikanth, and John Abraham have spent a couple of days completing some schedules of their upcoming movies. Now the busiest actor of India Prabhas has shifted to Hyderabad from Adipurush sets to wrap up the balance work of Radhe Shyam. Similarly, other Tollywood actors including Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, Jr NTR and Rana are busy in their shoot of upcoming Telugu movies.
Why Hyderabad?
Many of the studios in Hyderabad has acres of land to erect sets and standing sets that offer end-to-end solutions, from accommodation to shooting, for which equipment including cameras can be rented, and post-production work. Most of the studios are fully functional with editing and dubbing rooms, recording studios, and VFX facilities. Even in-house technicians are available.
On the other side, Ramoji Film City, is also home to the largest film studio complex in the world, at least according to Guinness World Records. With 1,666 acres of backlots, streetscapes, 47 sound stages, warehouses, post-production facilities, hotels, restaurants, and a theme park.
