Kunjeldho featured Asif Ali in the lead role, alongside Vineeth Sreenivasan, Gopika Udayan, Siddique, Rekha, Kritika Pradeep, Sudheesh, Arjun Gopal, Akku Melparamba, and Shruthi Rajanikanth in supporting roles. Swaroop Philip did the cinematography of Kunjeldho movie. The film was edited by Ranjan Abraham. The music of Kunjeldho was composed by Shaan Rahman, with lyrics by Aswathy Sreekanth, Santhosh Varma, and Anu Elizabeth Jose.
Dulquer Salman was initially considered for the campus-themed film. It was initially reported that Dulquar was approached for the role in the film and Dulquer agreed. According to reports, Dulquer left the film because he did not want to do teenage roles.

Story
In the shadow of friendship, a new campus film is being prepared for theatrical release. The backend team of Kunjeldho movie had earlier said they were ready to wait until the theatres opened. “Kunjeldho is the story of our friend’s resistance. The story of a lost man regaining his life. The thrill of seeing it amidst the full applause in theatres.” Suvin K Varkey said in a statement.
