Vijay Antony was born on Thursday, July 24, 1975 at Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu in Christian family. Vijay is a graduate of the Loyola School of Arts and Science. He went through difficult times before entering into Films. He is the great-grandson of Samuel Vedanayagam Pillai (1826-1889), also known as Mayavaram Vedanayagam Pillai, an Indian official who is remembered as the author of the author of Prathapa Mudaliar Charithram, recognized as the first modern Tamil novel.
His interest in acting driven him to play a lead role in Naan which is dubbed in Telugu as Nakili, this film has become a successful venture. Vijay Antony Upcoming Movies 2021-22:
Music composer turned actor Vijay Antony upcoming film will be a sequel to his 2016 hit Pichaikkaran, and will be helmed by director Priya Krishnaswamy. Titled Pichaikkaran 2, the film will also release in Telugu under the title Bitchagudu 2. Reports are that Vijay Antony started shooting for this sequel. Besides playing the lead role in it, he is also penning the film.
Vijay Antony’s Khaki, written and directed by A Senthilkumar, is also slated for release this year. The film stars Vijay Antony, Indhuja, Srikanth, Sathyaraj and Eswari Rao in the pivotal roles. The music for the film is composed by Augath with Manoj Paramahamsa cranking the camera and Gokul Chandran wielding the megaphone.
Also, Vijay Antony has three different projects in pre-production stages with directors Ananda Krishnan, Vijay Milton and Balaji K Kumar respectively. After his Thimiru Pudichavan that released in 2018, Vijay Antony has not worked as music composer for any other film so far.
